Creative Retreat This November!

CHA Canada Designer, Educator & Creative Professional Retreat

Location:  Kempenfelt Conference Center – Bayview Building, Innisfil (Barrie), Ontario
Dates: November 22-24, 2013
CHA members: $270.07
Cost for Non CHA members: Add $160 CHA membership fee
(QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP MUST BE MET)
Cost includes: HST, 2 nights shared accommodation, all meals and activities.

Join CHA designers for a fun action packed weekend that will inspire, educate and expand your creativity.

This weekend retreat is being organized by the Canadian Designers, Educators and Creative Professional (DECP) committee and is designed to assist CHA members in their education, networking and professional careers.  Registration is small (limit 24) to ensure a quality event with attention to individual training. Attendees at this workshop will receive a 2014 CHA Canada DECP Accreditation Certification and listing on the CHA Canada website, which will be available to all craft industry companies.

This event is open to CHA Canada members who are designers, creative professional and retailers (space permitting).

There will be 6 workshop presentations and 2 accreditations sessions by experts in their field.  Workshops will be from a variety of different craft areas with the goal to expand your creativity and skill as well as encourage cross participation and networking.  Click on the companies/presenters for more details.

What to bring. 
Basic crafting materials, pens, note book glue, anything you traditionally could not do without (Westcott will be providing you with a goodie bag of crafting tools including scissors, a hobby knife and a paper trimmer so no need to pack those!).  Presenters will provide any unique or essential items.
