As an active member of the Canadian Craft and Hobby Association I wanted to take the opportunity to share with you an amazing event which is happening this November.

Canadian Designer, Educator and Creative Professional (DECP) Retreat

The first ever Canadian Retreat for Designer, Educator and Creative Professionals (DECP) will take place November 22-23, 2013 in Kempenfelt, Innisfil (near Barrie) Ontario .

This weekend retreat is being organized by the Canadian DECP committee and is designed to assist DECP CHA members in their education, networking and professional careers. Registration is spaces are limited to 24 to ensure a quality event with attention to individual training. Attendees at this workshop will receive a 2014 CHA Canada DECP Accreditation Certification and listing on the CHA Canada website, which will be available to all craft industry companies.

Cost for members: $270.07
Cost for Non CHA members: $445.22
Cost includes: HST, 2 nights shared accommodation, all meals and activities. 

Non members’ price includes $155 CHA membership. This event is expected to be a sell out so please mark the registration date on your calendars.
