
Last January my apartment in the 6
th was right around the corner from these two restaurants. I have always loved the look of shiny black wood.

On one of my later walks the street light hit the side of the second restaurant strangely so I walked over to see what was catching my eye. These silver inlays took my breath away.

This sums of the very reason why I love to walk in Paris. I never know what I will see. Even when I walk down the same street over and over. How lucky Parisians are to live in a city that still decorates the outside of building.
These are gorgeous. Yes Parisians are very lucky.
