DCWV - The Paper Dresses From CHA

I am so happy to be home and reviewing some of the many photos from the Craft and Hobby show in California. It is hard to pick a favorite booth, but sometimes the displays just call to you and because I love paper arts and fashion, the combination of the two stopped me in my tracks.

From a distance I spotted the DCWV stage. Their "runway."

Each dress more beautiful than the next. All constructed from their papers.

I never imagined that this technique could result in such an amazing 3d design.

The flowers on this pink dress are spectacular.

Until you walk around and see the most spectacular ruffled paper trim.

Outstanding flowers!

The butterfly dress was beyond sweet.

It was only when I finally got close to it that I saw the detail.

Butterflies by the dozens.

Here is another super sweet dress.

Pearls and paper chrysanthemums!

I loved this dress because I have this paper in my collection.

Again, another spectacular flower! DCWV should have a paper flower making class!

The red dress. Scarlett might have worn this.

Love the details.

The black fibers and rhinestones are so pretty.
I hope you enjoy these close ups! I'll keep posting my favorites for a few days!

  7. Hi Eileen...I had to wait my turn, there were so many people taking photos...and you could get as close as you wanted...but then it was hard to get a photo without a person in the shot.
