Triangle Jewel

Yesterday I did a post featuring triangle boxes. The triangle is not the most used shape in the paper arts or jewelery making world. It is an interesting and challenging shape to try and incorporate into a bigger piece.

This triangle started out as a very inexpensive clasp. The circular center was open and a large stick shape was meant to pass through to hold a necklace together. I decided to fill the centre with some interesting watch parts and suspend them in place with resin.

This I like! I don't think it is steam punk...but it definitely reminds me of the Victorian age.
