Oh my. I do love the art work of Beatrix Potter.
I purchase several card making magazines from the United Kingdom monthly. What is disappointing about those mags is that we always get them 2 to 3 months after they are released overseas. If I want a sneak peak I have to go to their website to see what will be in the next issues. You can imagine my excitement to see that they posted a free download to make this amazing box card. The artwork is from The Crafters Companion which I just showcased earlier this week on my blog.
I printed this card on card stock using my home ink jet printer. Since the
free download was meant to go with the magazine, I didn't have the instructions for assembly, but I did manage to build the card after staring at their online photo for a bit. I know it is early in the season, but doesn't it make you think of the winter holidays?
Here is the link if you want to make one for yourself!
Naturally, I could not resist making a box for this special card. I learned how to do this last week after watching the Crafters Companion DVD! This card is so special only one person will probably receive it this December. My Mom!
If you have time to do a little more surfing, here are my Crafty Blogger links too.
