eBosser Leather Birds

This bracelet came together within minutes of my unpacking my new eBosser from Craftwell.

What is the eBosser?  It is a fully automatic and large format embossing & die cutting system!  The eBosser is universally compatible with most cutting dies & embossing folders! Use your favorite folders & dies or our large format embossing folders to create projects fast & easy!
I am thrilled to be asked to do some projects with Craftwell!
I had wanted the eBosser since I watched Leanne from Crafter's Companion present it on YouTube.  She cut and embossed leather and that had stayed in my mind for weeks.
Even though I know I should first begin learning about this new tool by working with simple papers and fabric I just had to give the leather cutting a try!  Right out of the box I reviewed which platforms I needed in order to cut on an old Accucut wood die.  I used my leftover pieces of leather that I never throw away and positioned them on the die.
All I did now was feed my eBosser!  It is fully automatic!  No turning the crank!
I could not stop cutting birds!  They are perfect!
That's when I knew I needed something to wear them on right away!  I set up some linen and crochet ribbon in a strip and gathered ribbon clamps and findings.  When you measure a strip or chain for a bracelet you need to make sure you also subtract the inches added with the metal components as shown.
Then I used a leather hole punch and some pretty rivets to attach my birds.
I also added a little glue in a few key spots so my birds would always lay flat when the bracelet was corved on my wrist.

Ta Da!  My first eBosser project.
I have a pile of leather birds I can use made from leather scraps I might have just thrown away!
