I have been spending a lot of time in the garage.
I have written a series of blog posts for John Bead this week that required me to use a chemical called Etchant. This chemical scares me a little....but the results are so great I can't resist rubber stamping on metal and then etching!
I love metal etching! I'm hoping to do more in my back yard before the weather gets too cold.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you are using StazOn on your clear stamps. Be sure to clean them really well-- The solvent in the StazOn will begin to pitt them.doesn't hurt red rubber though....
I love working with copper and other metals, but haven't tried etching. Thanks for sharing this information ~ your pieces turned out great!
