Isn't Peter Rabbit lovely? Beatrix Potter artwork is now available to work with due to an amazing arrangement with The Crafter's Companion. I ordered this CD ROM from the UK in September and this weekend was my first opportunity to see all the images.
The CD has all the original artwork from the book plus so many extras! Background papers, decoupage and a zillion other things you can print out to use.
I decided to make buttons. These are some of my favorite Beatrix Potter illustration. First I made 1 1/2 inch buttons. Then I decided to pull out my jewelery making supplies and set the buttons in a cabochon setting after attaching the charms.
I thought "LOVE" would be the perfect sentiment for these beautiful images.

Finally I printed these background papers to make cards.
The extra ribbon is all these jeweled embellishments needed.
