Resin Filled Open Back Frame

Next week on the Resin Crafts blog I have a special tutorial.  I'll show you how to pour resin into an open backed frame or bezel.

The little copper frame and dolly is a finished sample for that post so I thought I would turn it into a finished brooch for my bead blogging weakly post.  I drilled three holes into the frame so I could attach it to the pin and also so I could attach a dangle.

I wonder what sort of award this brooch might represent.

It looks like it might be a salute to mothers!
