Wool Kumihimo

Before leaving for the Craft and Hobby show I finished many pieces of jewelry for my displays and classes.   This is a favorite.

Last year I declared it the Year of The Knot.  I learned so many different knots...and there are even more to learn this year!  Understanding how to use my kumihimo disk was my favorite new technique in 2012.  I have tested it with so many fibers I know that my options are endless.
Crazy thick yarns make fabulous necklaces.
Can you believe that the strands on the left become the cord on the right?
The end caps I found at Michaels.
The bezel is by Fernando Dasilva and I placed my image, rhinestones and resin into it to create this pendant.
