Yesterday I made some Christmas themed button magnets. I added a charm dangle and decided to keep one for myself. I wanted to wear my button on my coat jacket...but it was a little small.
So out came some felting supplies.
My Janome
sewing machine is out for a tune up, so if I wanted to make something wearable, I would need to use another machine or sew by hand.
This is Janome's felting machine. I'll be working with it a lot in 2011! By just using this machine I was able to create my bigger felted background for the button. All the fibers are being held in place because the machine felted them.
Tonight, this button will attend a Christmas gathering!
