This is a special kumihimo braid necklace and bracelet set that I will be wearing this summer.
I made my braid with the Dazzle-it kumihimo disk and a ball of white t-shirt yarn I made myself.
The Dazzle-it antique copper fine chain has been waiting for a chance to shine in a project. I can say the addition of it to my braid is what made it so special.
I have written quite a few posts on my personal blog explaining how to make and use t-shirt yarn. It really is a hot trend amongst those of us who enjoy up-cycling.
I used the classic eight strand braid instructions that came with our kumihimo disk.
