Claudine Hellmuth's Wood Kit Samples

On Monday I did a blog post showing you how I changed the look of wood shapes by gluing interesting tissue paper to it.  Today I am showing you what you could do with some paint markers and resin.  These shapes come from a new Wood Kit Claudine Hellmuth is debuting on HSN in the United States next week.

Claudine Hellmuth's Whimsical Woodworks Kit
So cute, so unique! This impressive kit features Claudine's exclusive laser-cut wood shapes to use for all sorts of crafts and home decor projects. The possibilities are endless, and when you see the array of retro shapes — which coordinate with her entire collection — you'll surely be inspired. The pieces are presented on printed recipe-style cards you can use, too. Use the rub-ons to add interest to the shapes.

I decided to colour my wood shapes with some paint markers.
Then I applied a coating of Envirotex Lite resin as a glaze.
Aren't they adorable?  The resin makes them amazingly strong but they are still so light weight!
These houses could be used in so many card and scrapbook layout designs.
My cards feature papers from Claudine's other kits!  Good luck next week on HSN Claudine!
