My New Red Necklace

Hello friends! I did get a few emails about my red necklace from yesterday's Graphic 45 samples post. The red images I embedded in the bezel and the watch case came from a really pretty piece of paper.

This Graphic 45 double-sided paper is called "Buttons a la mode." I think you can see why I was so tempted to pop out a few of these circular shapes.

I could have made quite a few more necklaces. The lovely woman fit so perfectly in the pocket watch. Because the red was so powerful I really held back adding anything extra to the bezels. I used my favorite jewelery component, quick links from Beadalon to attach everything together.

The red beads were on sale at Michaels. I could not believe how close they came to matching the red in the paper. Lucky for me!
