When Did I Buy This?

There is a massive studio clean up going on here right now. There comes a point every year where if I don't make some major changes that I can't seem to create anything new. So tables, shelves and stands are all on the move. Yikes...I hope it all finds a home again! I am finding things that I can't recall buying. Like this stationary set.

I have no idea why I bought it now. Was I thinking I could use it in a collage? Maybe in bezels? Usually when I pick something up I filed away I remember what my intentions were for it. This time: I got nothing.

Which gives me a good art challenge. What to do with a 3/4 Florentine lady?

  1. this sounds like what's going on in my studio clean up...there's a lot of "what's this and why did i keep it /buy it?"

  2. O dear it must be a bug, I'm loading everything into one room, ( I tend to spread out) and then what? I really want to paint my cabinets so ... should I bother to organize them? If I don't do it while I'm off in the summer, it won't get done in the winter. HmmmmLove your 3/4 of a lady.

  4. What about bookmarks?

Baroque background - maybe transparencies or acetate sewn like your shaker cards (plus a nice big tassel).

Or a bookmark card: one card as is, with a slit or two cut into it, then a bookmark threaded through (present and card as one - and we always need bookmarks). This shape just seems to suit...
