The Jeweled Time Piece

The jeweled time piece is done. I have posted images of it before but it stayed on my work table. Some things just seem to need "one more thing." One last layer of resin gave it a beautiful domed surface.
I always keep something on my table that I can play with if I have any spare resin or bits of jewelry left over from another project. They are tiny collages without a theme.

The number of layers in this piece is really only apparent if you look at it on an angle.
The you can see fabric and rhinestone suspended at different levels. The ceramic doll I found in Paris. They have them everywhere so I am wondering if they are the French equivalent of the tea figurines we used to get in a box of red rose tea.

Here are some crafty links from friends who also had many projects this week. I am enjoying them with my morning sup of coffee!
