My love for all things Kokeshi was strengthened by all the little finds I made in Paris.
Parisians clearly love this doll shape too! I found tiny versions, hand sewn, printed and even on fabric for purses and wallets. One of the major jewelery companies released a line called "Tokyo Style" which has Kokeshi charms intermingled into their necklaces and bracelets.
I have not had a coin purse in years! Finally my loonies and toonies will have someplace nice to go.
Lovely finds, I can see why they are so irresistible. I remember seeing these cute dolls some years ago in a shop In York. Only thing was I didn't have enough money left, always regret a little not getting one. I saw recently in Fenwick shop, pens, with the clicker being the dolls head, and mini versions of the dolls in a cute box. Love miniatures. Ty you for sharing your discoveries :D

You still love them, and now because of you I love them. Yet another Carmi addiction under whose spell I will undoubtedly fall.
