I'm a Janome Girl!

I am watching The Shopping Channel.
I am a guest on the show at 4pm (and 11pm) with the Marie Osmond organizational systems following the women from Janome. They are demonstrating a computerized sewing machine on the show this morning and I learned one or two stitching techniques already. Live demonstrations always beat the instructional manual.
But I am so pleased to make a little announcement!
I am a new Janome Artisan!
Janome sent me the Jem Platinum machine and I plan to post many little "how tos" and samples in the next year.
I think a few of you even have the Jem. I hope you set it up and start experimenting a little with me.
Since I wanted to give the machine a little test run I opted to just put some thread in the machine and start sampling some of the many stitch options. Even though I was just playing I got to make my Janome logo. Here is a little close up of the amazing stitch options I tried out.

You ARE a Janome girl! I love this logo -- it's so pretty. My machine doesn't do fancy stitches.... not that it's doing any stitches right now (It's visiting Bernina's Head Office because it's been a bad girl). I'll try to remember to watch you at 4!
Wow nice machine and Janome Girl banner. I'm looking forward to your tutorials....it will encourage me to take out my sewing machine.
So I still have a chance to see your Shopping Channel at 4pm and 11pm today. Cool! I didn't miss it after all.
Oh my gosh. Add sewing to my list!
I was watching for you since 8:00 this morning and was worried that the Janome dames had ousted you from the program! So I'll try for this aft. The second machine demo'd was very attractive. I still have my new machine and haven't yet figured it out. For instance, how does the self threader work? It works by doing it myself.
Congrats! I am an on-again-off-again sewer; I love my machine (sorry, it's not Janome) but seem to use it infrequently. And then when I do use it, I get all psyched about sewing again. But then that wears away......
My PVR is set for your demo this afternoon!
