The Bowl Hair Cut
When I saw this old box at the antique market I flashed back to the idea of a "bowl hair cut." I guess Moms used to put a bowl on a child's head to act as a template for cutting it all the same length. I have no idea why the company claimed that these clippers would make "happy friends everywhere." But I believe in making friends happy...so this little photo is a keeper for sure.

Me too!
My mom didn't use a bowl -- she used masking tape!!! She would put a strip of masking tape across my bangs and then cut above it. Or I'd go to the barber with my dad.
