Letters From Lilac

This tree was so pretty. You can tell by the brightness how sunny yesterday was.

But then we noticed the note. In French and English. Merci.

Every year I try to bring you pleasure with my prettier
blossoms. Look at them, smell them, but please don't pick them!
This way I will be bigger and prettier next year when you pass by again.
