Fabric Ornaments

As I clean my studio I have been coming across a few bits and bobs. Rhinestone embellishments, vintage pins, and broken jewelry parts. I keep all of these knowing that I might like to use them some day. Since I needed a break from my chores, I decided to whip up a few more fabric Christmas tree ornaments. I printed some of my favorite images on a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 cotton.

I sewed the fabric to some quilt batting and felt with gold thread. It created a nice enough border...but the ornaments just seemed to want more.

So...out came everything else!

There is not one thing in my studio that I can give up. Sooner or later I will use it.
